The continued proliferation of plant-based proteins is one of four trends that FoodBytes! by Rabobank predicts is here to stay as the food industry adjusts to COVID-19.
FoodNavigator reports that InnovoPro, a FoodBytes! alum, recently received an infusion of $15M to boost production of its chickpea protein, which can be used in meat alternatives, confections, ice creams and more.
